Der Snow Patrol Gitarrist Nathan Connolly feiert heute Release seiner ersten Soloplatte. Aber auf dem Album bleibt er nicht immer alleine, er hat sich illustre Gäste eingeladen. Wie zum Beispiel Ailbhe Reddy, die wir hier auch schon des öfteren vorgestellt haben. ‚Ghost‘ hat diesen Britischen Sound, in den wir uns vor Jahren verliebt haben. Vor allem weil sich beide Künstler gesanglich nix nehmen, darüber hinaus perfekt harmonieren. Nathan Connolly erklärt, wie es zu dieser Kollaboration kam: „I always had the idea that Ghost could possibly be a duet but I was struggling to emotionally connect with it until Ailbhe did her thing on it. I was listening to Ailbhe’s record at the time, Between Your Teeth in particular and loved her voice. So I thought I would reach out to her and invite her to be part of it and wonderfully she said yes. She completed the track for me.“
