We reimagined „Neckline“ to be closer to true pop. Touring off this album, we often covered „Pink Pony Club“ and we wanted the harmonies, the strings, the synth to reach towards that Chappell Roan grandiosity. Plus, both songs (Pink Pony and Neckline) are the same chords over and over through the entire song, so I was excited to build dynamics even within that.“ – Sara Mae
