Das Brüderduo Cillian und Lorcan Byrne von Basciville schreibt Songs, wie früher, als Musik noch einen anderen Stellenwert hatte, als man in Songs abgetaucht ist. Für ihre emotionale neue Single ‚Your Own Head‘ haben sie sich eine Bandfreundin ins Boot geholt. Mit Ailbhe Reddy bekommt der Song noch mehr Tiefe und einen Funken Hoffnung, den ihre Stimme dem Song verleiht.

Wie es zu dieser Kollaboration kam, erzählt uns Ailbhe: “I’ve been friends with the guys from Basciville for years and we’ve always talking about collaborating more. The first time I ever set foot in a real studio was with them, and it was such a joy and full circle moment to work on this song together. We recorded the vocals one sunny day in the Wexford opera house and I fell in love with the track so quickly. The lyrics are beautiful and so different from what I’d write for myself which is always exciting.”
